The City of Berkeley, California seeks an associate HR analyst.

Duties of the position include designing and implementing recruitment programs, administering employee selection procedures, developing HR training curricula, coordinating and administering employee benefits programs, assisting with the implementation of equal employment opportunity policies and programs, reviewing the work of assistant HR analysts, conducting job analyses, preparing and presenting reports, and representing management at meetings.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, HR management, industrial relations or related field, and two years of HR experience; strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and applicant tracking systems; the ability to travel within and outside the City of Berkeley; and knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
