Benefit Technology Resources (BTR) has added a human capital management (HCM) system to its product line after requests from brokers and partners.

The product, called Ascentis, adds integrated talent and workforce management solutions to the basic HR functions of a standard platform. For clients with 50 to 500 employees, BTR will position Ascentis as a new HCM system.

“This software streamlines and automates many of the day-to-day record-keeping processes,” BTR Vice President Kate Taylor said in a statement. “It provides a framework for HR staff to manage benefits administration and payroll, map out succession planning and document such things as personnel actions and compliance with industry and/or government regulations.”

BTR is an HR technology consulting firm that provides a range of services such as provider assistance and RFP generation to employers with between 50 and 10,000 employees.
