Janet Barnard, who had served as president of Inventory Solutions at Cox Automotive, has been named the company’s chief people officer.

Barnard will be in charge of Cox Automotive’s culture and talent management program.

“Janet’s leadership style and passion for developing people are exactly what we need to further integrate Cox Automotive teams,” Cox Automotive President Sandy Schwartz said. “Her creativity, operational expertise and outstanding industry reputation will help us solidify our place as a destination for top talent.”

Grace Huang will took over as president of Inventory Solutions. She previously was senior vice president at Manheim Inventory Services. Cox Automotive includes the Manheim brand.

“Grace is the right leader to take on this important position as she’s been instrumental in the growth of Inventory Solutions,” Cox Automotive Chief Operations Officer Mark O’Neil said. “She is a strategic thinker with an outstanding track record for executing initiatives that enhance our operations, team member engagement and client success.”
