Two rival human resources firms have joined forces to offer an improved method of service delivery to clients.

Balance Point, a Glen Rock, New Jersey-based payroll processor, has adopted technology developed by iSolved, which provides a cloud-based portal allowing firms to manage payroll, benefits and other human resources functions online.

Industry publication CIO Review lauded iSolved as an innovator in its list of Top 20 Most Promising HR Technology Solution Providers last year. It is owned by benefits firm Infinisource located in Coldwater, Michigan.

Once Balance Point’s existing software is replaced with the iSolved system, it will be called “Orange,” according to a company press release.

“As our customers’ businesses grow, their workforce management needs evolve,” Balance Point co-founder Dave Magen said in the release. “It’s crucial to have a system in place that is flexible and scalable, whether the organization has five employees or 500.”
