Global emergency travel assistance provider AXA requires a human resources coordinator to work in its Chicago location, generally supporting the HR office in helping the company to meet its goal of exceeding client expectations.

The coordinator will deliver administrative assistance for employee relations, benefits, payroll, performance management and legal compliance. He or she will oversee hiring functions and benefits programs; maintain documentation and serve as point of contact for employees; and ensure clear communication in procedures.

Additionally, the HR coordinator will take part in special projects and events as needed; and strive for overall efficiency in the department through procedural improvements.

Qualified applicants will bring at least two years of previous work experience in a similar capacity; mastery of Microsoft Office platform applications and full knowledge of HR functions. The successful candidate will have outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with all colleagues.

The coordinator should be able to manage confidentiality, juggling multiple tasks on time with scheduling flexibility; and demonstrate the ability to work equally well on a team and independently. He or she will serve as a role model for both the company and the HR department.
