Automotive retailer AutoNation’s general counsel, corporate development and human resources executive vice president Jon Ferrando will retire at the end of the month.
“I thank Jon for his 20 years of exemplary service and leadership at AutoNation,” Chairman and CEO Mike Jackson said. “We wish Jon all the best in his future endeavors.”
Ferrando had served on the company’s executive committee for over a decade. He has been general counsel for over 17 years, leader of the HR and benefits departments for over 10 years, and leader of the corporate development team for over 5 years.
“I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve on the senior management team and to contribute to the company’s success during my tenure at AutoNation,” Ferrando said. “It has been rewarding to work with the outstanding teams that I had opportunity to lead at AutoNation. I look forward to the company’s continued success in the years to come.”
AutoNation Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel Coleman Edmunds will become acting general counsel and corporate secretary on April 1.
