The Auto Club Group, which includes
the AAA, Meemic and Fremont brands under its umbrella, is seeking a human
resource professional for its Omaha, Nebraska office.
Candidates should have some college
coursework covering business administration or a related field, and those with
a bachelor’s degree are preferred. Applicants should have experience using
Human Resources PeopleSoft applications and extensive experience in personnel
functions like compensation, employment, employee relations, employee benefits,
employee services and business system support.
Those interested in the position should be
able to develop policies, procedures and guidelines and administer benefit
programs and resolve any issues and queries related to them. Candidates should
also be familiar with regulations on employment and employee and governmental
benefits.
The position bears a competitive
compensation and benefits package and would require some travel, amounting to
less than 10 percent of total work time. The successful candidate will support
human resources functions within ACG, working as a liaison both within the
human resources department and with other departments to answer employee
inquireies and ensure that policy interpretations are accurate. The position
also entails monitoring the implementation of corporate HR programs at the
Omaha office and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, among other
duties.
