Speciality bakery company Aryzta seeks a part-time human resources generalist in Alsip, Illinois.
Duties of the position include answering questions regarding verifications of employment, performing open enrollment functions, facilitating the development and monitoring of employee performance improvement plans, assisting employees with their benefit needs, processing payroll status change forms, resolving employee relations issues, and attending seminars.
Prospective candidates must possess five years of progressive HR work experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication, leadership, analytical, time management and conflict resolution skills; the ability to work independently; and knowledge of employment laws and practices.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, industrial relations, psychology or related field; the ability to speak Spanish; and PHR/SPHR certification.
