AMETEK, Inc issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.

AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE: AME) announced that its Board of Directors has elected John Mockler as Vice President, International Human Resources.

“I am very pleased to announce that John has rejoined AMETEK in this important role,” comments David A. Zapico, AMETEK Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “John’s extensive human resources background and prior experience with AMETEK’s international businesses makes him an ideal candidate for this role. John will lead our human resource teams abroad and play a key role in talent acquisition and leadership development as well as due diligence and integration of acquisitions outside the United States.”

Mr. Mockler rejoins AMETEK after serving as Global Human Resources Director for the Precision Engineering Division of IMI plc. Prior to that, he served in an international role for AMETEK as Director, Human Resources. Earlier in his career, John held positions with increasing responsibility at Newell Rubbermaid, AGCO – Massey Ferguson and Dunlop Tyres.

Mr. Mockler holds a Bachelor of Arts, Business Studies Degree from the University of Central England and a Higher National Certificate in Engineering from Hall Green Technical College.
