Aegis Ltd. has received the Aon Best Employer in India award for 2017, presented by the global human resources consultancy services firm. 

Aegis, a global outsourcing and technology services company accepted the award during the Best Employers Learning Conference and Awards Ceremony held May 9 in Mumbai.

Aegis was able to achieve high employee engagement scores due to its employee management practices. Aon said Aegis was way ahead of peers in the industry in terms of human resource practices, and congratulated the company on becoming one of the world’s elite best employers.

“For Aegis, it’s crucial that we create a diverse and inclusive work culture that empowers our employees to realize their full potential, and deliver the best results for our global clients,” Aegis Global CEO Sandip Sen said in a statement released by the company. “This accreditation truly highlights the investment we make in our people.”

Aegis’ human resource strategy leverages interdependence allowing for both individual and organizational growth. The company also promotes a healthy work environment for its employees and among the people it partners with across the industry.

There were 119 organizations in 14 industry sectors participating in the 2017 Aon Best Employers India study. Approximately 520,000 employees were involved in the process that included extensive research and ultimately resulted in a list of the 19 best employers.
