Water heater manufacturer A.O. Smith Corp. is looking to hire a compensation and benefits assistant in Milwaukee.

Duties of the position include drafting basic job descriptions, maintaining job catalogs, developing job analysis materials, conducting system audits, processing pension benefits, resolving pension issues, maintaining electronic records and performing salary benchmarking.

Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; at least one year related work experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; strong analytical, organizational, mathematical and time management skills; and the ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred qualifications include a college degree in business or related field.
